Winners will be presented their cheques this Saturday night at the Port Perry Figure Skating Ice Carnival. : Scugog Jaycees hold inaugural meeting Last Wednesday night, ten 'Whitby Jaycees attended the first introduction night held at the Town Hall 1873 in an effort to establish a unit in Scugog. Invitations had been sent out to a number of young men between the ages of 18 and 40 and some follow- up telephoning was done at the beginning of last week. "From the results of the first meeting and particular- ly from the interest ex- pressed during our telephone canvass, I am confident that Jaycees will become a reality in Scugog,"' said Nigel Schilling, the chairman of the extension team for the Canada Jay- cees. In our experience, a municipality the size of Port Perry even without the surrounding population in Scugog Township, is suf- ficiently large to support a Jaycee unit.
