We also wish to welcome our new member Mrs. Anne mates. Her parents and brothers are doing quite well. ' Will all the organizations of the Island Church please get their reports to Reta Reader by next Sunday so that they may be printed up. Mr. and Mrs: Jim Adam Jr. with their 2 daughters and the latter's parents enjoyed a pleasant Christ- mas holiday in Florida. The choir of the Island Church will not have Thurs- day practice during the winter as skiing interferes on Thursdays. However there will be practice each Sunday after Church. This will alsp relieve members from an extra night out. So, if there is anyone else who would be interested in helping with this arrangement through the winter please let some member know. The Women's Institute will meet next Wednesday, January 17 to celebrate their 7th Anniversary. Members are reminded to bring a package of rose or mauve plastic spoons and a candle. Mrs. Alva Thompson will direct the members in the use of these items in making something. Visitors are welcome. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy of Fralick's beach are pleased to have the latter's brother visiting from Arizona. He will be here until January 20. So we hope nearby Islanders will make him welcome, as the weather has not been favourable for him to get around to enjoy himself.
