Ander- son, My Fair Lady PORT PERRY STAR -- Wed., November 15, 1978 -- 29 Special performance this Sunday The popularity of musical productions presented by Scugog Choral Society is now firmly established in this Community. Every year ticket sales and number of performances have been on an increase due to public demand. When the Merry Widow was perform- ed last year an extra perfor- mance was added to the three presentations of HMS Pinafore the year before. The popular group therefore decided to play this year's production of My Fair Lady five nights, to be sure all interested would have tickets. However, the demand was YOU NEED WE NEED SPACE! In order to remedy this to some extent, the members, during a brief meeting at Sunday's rehear- sal decided to stage the musical at a special perfor- mance on Sunday, Novem- ber 19. A particular reason for going ahead with a sixth performance was the fact that many of the steadfast patrons of Scugog Choral Society and Town Hall 1873 were among those who lost out in the ticket sales. All tickets for this special performance will be sold as rush seats from 7 p.m. house lease est selection r shown. KING KOIL 8 (Not exactly as lllustrated) ODD CHROME KITCHEN CHAIRS 516.88 un. Another fine gesture on part of the members of Scugog Choral Society during Sunday's rehearsal was the unanimous decision to donate the net proceeds from this performance to a fund for a much needed concert piano.
