Rev. E. Linstead officiated at the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Krieg of RR3, Port Perry. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wagar of 494 Lowell Ave., Oshawa. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white chiffon over satin gown accentuated with Alencon lace. and seed pearls. Perry was matron-of-honor. Bridesmaids were sisters of the bride Mrs. Hida Manns of Oshawa and Clara Krieg of Toronto. Lisa Bell of Dartmouth, N.S. was flower girl and Michael Corp of Cavan was ring-bearer. Rev. R. Brawn officiated -at the ceremony. The bride wore a beautiful white organza gown, featur- ing a high neckline with lace inset, and full shear sleeves falling to wide lace cuffs. The chapel length was trim- med in lace, a co-ordinated headpiece held the finer tip length mantilla veil. She carried a colonial bouquet of yellow roses, and was given in marriage by her brother, Mr. Robert Kendell. The maid of honour was Miss Caroline Fava of Scar- borough, bridesmaids were Miss Margo Bagg of Port Perry and sisters of the groom, Miss Donna Brain and Miss Mary Ellen Brain, both of Prince Albert. The attendants wore long yellow gowns with matching lace jackets, and carried colonial bouquets of yellow roses and white carnations. Mr. Rod Campell acted as best man, Mr. Brian Brain, brother of the groom and Mr. Robert: Kendell were the ushers. The groom and all attendants wore dove grey suits. The bride's mother, Mrs. Betty Kendell chose a dusty pink gown with matching sheer capelet. The groom's mother, Mrs. Jack Brain selected a turquoise gown with matching full length jacket. Both mothers wore simbidium orchids. The Wedding Reception and Dance was held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Port Perry. Guests from Woodstock, Toronto, Sharbot Lake, Shelbourne, Brace- bridge, Carrying Place and Vancouver attended. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Brain are now residing in Wood- stock, Ontario. Wheeler-Goulding At Port Perry United Church on July 15, 1978, Catherine Elizabeth, daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Goulding, Port Perry was united in marriage to Ronald Harry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wheeler of Ennismore Ontario. Rev. Brawn offi- ciated at the ceremony. She was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a dress and' train of Chantilly Lace over silk, trimmed with tiny pink rosebuds. She carried a white Bible covered in lace with a cascade of roses. The bridesmaids were dressed in green with match- ing silk capes. The Maid of Honour was Sheriee Devitt of Bobcaygeon. The brides- maids were Eleanor Menzies of Cavan, sister of the groom, Mary Clugston of Prince Albert and Rita Huggins of Port Perry, the flower girl was Mandy Menzies of Cavan. The groom and his atten- dants were dressed in deep green tuxedo's. The groom's best man was Ed. Core of Lindsay, the ushers were Paul Wheeler, brother of the groom; Greg Sanders of Peterborough, and Robert Goulding, brother of the bride. The ringbearer was Mark Fitze of Seagrave. The happy couple are residing at R.R.1, Ennis- more, Ontario. 1978, Jane Heather, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Parish and Bruce Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Fergus- son, Oshawa, were united in marriage at Greenbank United Church.
