Playground is for children between the ages of 4 and 10 but we would appre- ciate any older children who have nothing to do to come out and help us. They'll get lots of experience if they would like a Playground job someday and have lots of fun for reward. This summer Jean Horton and Cheryl Graham will be working at Playground with me. These girls have had lots of experience working with children and I am sure the kids will lovg them! Tuesday was Grafitti Day and tomorrow (Thursday) will be Hawaiian Day. On these Special Days the child- ren are invited to dress up in costumes related to these days. They need only to be worn in the morning as the afternoons are usually too hot. Next week will be a very busy one! Tuesday July 18 will be Pirate Day. There will be pirate stories, pirate songs, and who knows, there might even be a treasure hunt if good old Captain Hook is in the Blackstock area again this summer! Wednesday July 19 will be Space Day. People of Black- stock had better be aware or they may think they are being invaded by little green men from Mars. If you have any talents, pets, or anything of interest, or if you know of anyone who does please tell us.- We love to have special visitors drop in! (even if it is just a dog) Also please watch for our parades! We usually parade around town on our special days. Parades are lots more fun when we have someone to wave at!
