Community Care after two months 'of operation After two months of oper- ation Scugog Community Care is already making an impact according to a Regional Community Care Quarterly Report to the Ministry of Community and Social Services. Forty-two clients have registered for assistance and 82 volunteers have offered their services, a remarkable beginning according to Regional Co-ordinator, Richard Johnston. Volunteer assignments tripled between February and March with 61 tasks undertaken in March. Vol- unteers have already don- ated 236 hours not including 74 hours of training. Community Care has received $63,400. a year for two years from the Provin- cial Government with which to assist the elderly to remain in their own homes.
