Aren't you sorry you didn't order one? Port Perry can once again . be distinguished by our smashing red and white jackets. If you ordered one and haven't picked it up yet, you can do so on Tues- day. Just bring your balance, and then wear your new jacket proudly! The C.K.LL.B. "Bull- Shooters" arrived in our gym last Wed. night to en- tertain its audience and take on our excellent junior boys basketball team. The game was fun and enjoyed by all, young and old. Thursday was 'Green Day" and everything went very well. We were happy to see the majority of our student body attired in green celebrate St.Patrick's Day - one day early! Thanks for the Irish Spirit kids. I hope you saved a little: for the rest of the school year? Your student council has the rest of the school year slotted into place and every- thing is looking good. Friday, March 31st is "Daffodil Day". The pretty yellow flowers will be sold for approximately $2.00 a dozen. Our Art Department is Tesponsible for the great posters you see all over town. I'know I can speak for the grade 13's and Mr. Prentice when I say that we are happy to be helping such a worthy cause. Don't forget to save a few cents on Friday the 31st to help the Canadian Cancer Society. They deserve a few bouquets thrown their way (Daffodils of course!). Spirit week is planned for the 2nd week back to school. f you think you're good on BK | | INVEST NOW! If you want an even- ing of Formal (but fun) entertainment with music by the "Par Four" mark April 28 on your calendar (with a star). We are trying to get a disc jokey from one of the well known radio stations in Toronto for the beginning of April. The date will only be set when we know that people will plan on attend- ing. Our last dance, perhaps the best dance music at Port Perry High all year, 'was a flop. Not only did you disappoint the year book staff but you missed some great music, and a lot of fun! We hope everyone will plan to attend one or both dances in April. We need your support to be able to run a good school for you. Yearbooks are .on sale everyday in front of the office for $5.50 and 6.00 if you don't have an activity card. Cash in on some memories now. The student council is planning a rebate for those lucky people that purchased an activity card at the be- . ginning of the year. (May- be a free dance) and you thought it wasn't worth it!!!
