Jean is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Edwards of Englehart and Ronald is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nobbs. The ceremony was per- formed by Rev. John Urquhart. The church was decorated with baskets of white and pink flowers and lit tapers. Soloist Douglas Dunbar accompanied by Mrs. Herb Kiehna sang 'Wedding Prayer" and I Love You Truly". They carried baskets of multi- coloured garden baskets, Grooms man and master of ceremonies was George Fisher of Teeswater and ushers were David Edwards of Englehart, Ross Thayer of Kitchener and Raymond Nobbs of Little Britain. During the ceremony the. bride and groom lit one large candle from two small tapers signifying two uniting as one. A reception was held at the Englehart Community Hall with a midnight smorgas- bord For their honeymoon to Calgary the bride wore a white linen pantsuit and a corsage of red roses. The couple will make their home in Little Britain. Guests who attended the wedding came from Kirk- land Lake, New Liskeard, London, Uxbridge, Port Perry, Matheson, Cookstown Toronto and Burlington. The Woman's Institute meeting will be held in Centennial Hall on Wed. Sept. 21 at 8 pm. The ladies of the community are welcome. Greenbank and area news Mrs. Robert Baird attend- ed the fortieth wedding anniversary in Toronto for Mr. -and Mrs. Ken 'Bayes last weekend: Mr. and Mrs. Don Wash- burn and children of Cooks- ville visited with the Couves family last week. Mr. and Mrs. Howard McMillan attended the birthday tea for Mrs, Hattie Wallace in Port Perry recently. Mr. Archie Empringham has been home from hospital for a week and reports he is feeling fine. Mr. and Mrs. John Brown of Washago visited - with Archie and Ida a couple of days last week and the boys and their families were visitors on Sunday.
