Stuart McEntyre officiated, Mr, Henri H. Vanderkooi, Oshawa, played the music and Mrs, Ann St. John, Uxbridge, was soloist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Gordon Carnegie, 196 Cochrane St., Port Perry. The bride- groom is the son of Mr, and Mrs. Glenn A, Smith, R.R.1, Oshawa, "Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of sheer elegance of soft flowing double chiffon falling in a chapel length train. Fitted bodice in Venice lace and full chiffon sleeves deeply cuffed in matching lace. Her crown styled lace headpiece trim- med with tiny seed pearls attached to a double layer illusion veil with hand rolled edges and matching appli- ques. She carried a cascade bouquet of coral roses. Attending the bride were Mrs. Alice Carnegie, Brook- lin, sister-in-law of the bride, as matron of honour. Miss Jane Parish, Uxbridge, Miss Lynne MacGregor, - Hamilton, cousin of the bride, and Mrs. Melody Moase, Port Perry, as bridesmaids. All were dres- sed alike in deep coral gowns and carried bouquets of mixed spring flowers. Robert Grills, Port Perry, cousin of the groom was best man, and Mark and Scott Howsam, Oshawa, brothers of the groom, and Steve Carnegie, Brooklin, brother of the bride, acted as ushers. The reception was held at Kedron Dells Golf Club, Oshawa. The bride's mother received wearing a gown of mint green lace over polyester with a cor- sage of yellow rose buds. The groom's mother assist- ed wearing a gown of cand- lelight champagne matte jersey 1 with a green orchid After a honeymoon in Florida, the couple will reside at 165 Queen Street, Port Perry. Guests included the grand- parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. James Lee, Green- bank, and Mrs. David Car- negie and Mrs. Arthur Big- wood of Port Perry, grand- mothers of the bride.
