Ontario finals in Pee Wee 'C' class got underway on Thursday, Dresden. The Legionaires 'stole a. 3 to 2 victory. In Port on Sunday, Dresden came from behind to defeat the Legionaires 4 . to 2, snapping Ports' play. down winning streak at 11 games, Both games were close with Di [ a 2 to 0 lead at home in the first game and Port coming back with three goals to win, Scoring for Port late in the second period was' Young from Fewer and Blayone, Storry scored twice in the third period with Horton and A. Jones drawing assists on the first goals, A. Jones and Blayone assisting on the final goal with 2:03 left in regulation: time. Blayone was a standout in this game for the Legionaires. In Port on Sunday, the teams reversed roles as Port had a 2 to 1 advantage going into the third period, with Dresden coming back with three third period goals to win 4 to 2. The last time the Bantams won the All Ontario was in 1972, 5 years ago. Such players as Milt Heard, Larry Elson, Mark Jobb, Phil Cochrane, and Ed Olson, who are now - playing Jr. A played on the "72 Bantams, These players all have a chance at the NHL.. So. perhaps .some of the Bantams playing on the team now could be Jr. A. contention or even the NHL. A strong Dresden Pee Wee Club tied the All- Ontario Championship series at the Port Perry arena on Sunday night defeating the local lads, 4-2. This ties the series - at one game each, with the third game to be played this Saturday in Port Perry. Jim Aldred had three assists with Ryan Appleton and Brian Mikkleson getting one each. Ron Rumford and John MacLeod scored for Ballards with Kevin Haugen Mike Yurko and Ray Bright assisting. Goreskis advance to the finals next Saturday at 10:25 a.m. PEE WEE Bolton 7 Glen Vallie 0 Rob Long scored four times for Bolton with Paul Rioual scoring twice and Dwayne Bryant getting one. Earl Meyers led the way with three assists, Brad Fulford got two, Harry Sillen and Dwayne Bryant each had one. Jerry Jack- man recorded the shutout.
