The * members: were happy to welcome back their new president, Mrs. Vera Hutton, after her absence because of an accident, _ The --craft_ demonstrated was the art of decorating and colouring eggs in the Ukranian tradition, called © "Psanky", which means : "writing on'. Designs' are written on with a pen called i a "kiska" and beeswax. Since the eggs are put into each dye colour as the design is developed, the colouring is done using the # pale colours first and pro- ; gressing to the darker back- ground shades. If a shiny finish is desired, the eggs i can be varnished or shellac won their respective classe- es, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Archer of Port McNicoll also Mrs. Penny.
