Mrs. Clara Warren sum- med up the quilting bee by reading a story on "My Old Quilting Frames", Cards were signed to be sent to our sick members. During the program, "A Salute to Queen Elizabeth" by Mrs. Irene Philip. Mrs. Den Boer read a lengthy story. on 'Love and Kind- ness', and Mrs. Haan closed the program by a very suit- able reading, "Let me be a Little Kinder". The March meeting will be held with a dessert duncheon on Thursday, March 3rd at 1:30 sharp. Florence Ellicott In- the first game Purple Hill Farms defeated Carl the Butcher 4-3. Scoring for Purple Hill Farms was George Lindsay arid Kevin Nesbit each pick- ing up 2 goals. - Carriere, 'McCallum and Nesbit pick- ed up the assists. Scoring for Carl the «Butcher were Abou getting 2 goals and one assist with Tim Bower getting the other goal. In the second game Port Perry I.G.A. came back to tie Uxbridge 3-3. . Scoring for Uxbridge was Elliot; Schier -and Chase each picking up unassisted goals, I.G.A. goals scored by Jeff Kroonenhurg, Gerry Lee and George Lindsay. Picking up assists were Kevin Nesbitt and Gerald Lee. PEE WEE: Glen Vallie 4 - Wes Lane 4 Scoring for Glen Vallie was Ken Bright with 2, Al Tran and Mike Claubllund getting singles.
