The comprehensive inter- departmental program will continue to be known as the Student Summer , Employ- ment and Activities Pro- gram (SSEAP), this year it including, two new elements - the Young Canada Works and Summer Job Corps Programs, part of the em- ployment strategy outlined in the House of Commons .° last fall. _ By mid-February, more OBITUARY EVA MacFARLANE Mrs. Eva MacFarlane passed away at the Com- munity Nursing Home in Port Perry, Jan. 14, 1976 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Hamilton, daughter of the late Eliza- beth Swanick and Nicholos Dure and at an early age, she and her parents moved to Brock Township. She has been a devoted servant to her . Master throughout her church life, community interests and neighbourly contacts. During all hervyears of - service in Sonya W.M.S. and Lindsay Presbyterial having held many offices in the Presbyterial up to Vice- President, work so devotedly because of the motto they served under "The- World * For Christ" as a life member of the W.M.S. that interest con- tinued in St.Johns, Presby- terian Church, when she and her husband moved to Port Perry. Roads crew keep milk flowing "As far as I know, no milk was lost," said Scugog Township Roads Superin- tendent, Ron -MacDonald, Monday night following a weekend of steady work by township crews keeping area roads open. "The dairy men have to get their milk out every two days or their in trouble," said MacDonald, "so we've got all the routes mapped out and work with the shippers to get the roads to the farms open.
