On Monday, Jan. 3, 1977, the dream became a reality with - the opening - of the doors to the Scugog Com- munity Memorial Centre and the subsequent doubling of ice time available to users. Officials say ice time available to the community as a whole has doubled with the use of both arenas, although each organizations using the arena may not individually double their ice time.
