The Christmas meeting of the O.N.O. was held at the home of Judy Crawford with 22 members present. The president welcomed every- one to the meeting. Novem- ber minutes and correspon- dence was read. Following the treasurer's report a discussion took place as to how we might be of more help to those in our commun- ity in need. A motion was carried that we purchase a turkey for each family and a toy for each child suggested to us by Family Services. All good used clothing and bedd- ing is to be gathered at the home of Catherine Corden by Tuesday to be distributed by Family Services. It was further decided that January roll call include an article of good used clothing or bedd- ing and the possibilities of such a depot being set up for the community by O.N.O. is to be discussed. It was agreed that for weddings and eo Furniture o T.V, = Stereo eo Appliances banquets the bar is to be set up in the committee room to prevent further congestion in the kitchen during clean up. A successful motion was passed that the person sell- ing bar tickets be paid the same as the bartender. Roll call provided a "Christmas Concert" of poems, read- ings, recitations, letters from Santa and carols and was enjoyed by all. Judy and her group served a delicious luch bringing another meet- ing and another year to a close. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Fletcher, Diana and Scott attended the annual Fletcher Christmas Party at Wood- ville on Saturday evening. Congratulations to the successful candidates wha were elected on Monday.
