Bolan A farewell party for Norm and Bernice Tennyson was well attended on Saturday evening in the Caesarea Following an evening of dancing a delectable buffet was made available to all. Norm and Bernice departed on their trip to Florida amid wishes for a safe journey and pleasant stay. The Nestleton Recreation Centre was the setting for a "fun fair" sponsored by the Nestleton Women's Institute. One hundred and one ladies from various Women's Insti- tutes attended the event on Tuesday of last week. Mrs. G. Heaslip, President of the Nestleton W.I. bid the ladies a warm welcome. Mrs. Heaslip then welcomed Mrs. Marguerite Fraser, District Convenor who officially opened the fair. The Solina branch excelled in a skit regarding the laws of politics ans hunting. Following the entertainment Mrs. Mabel Cawker drew tickets on.the draws. There were six draws and congratulations were extended to all winners by Mrs. Cawker. An auction was held to dispose of a few remaining items.
