" On Friday night at home the Atoms were edged 5-3 by Port Hope with the last Port Hope goal going into an empty net as Port Perry had pulled .their goalie for an extra attacker. The game itself was a very close one. Some sloppy passing plays and failure to finish off scor- ing drives cost the team at least a tie. Port Hope then scored three unanswered goals for the 5-3 victory. On Saturday afternoon against Orono the Atoms scored a 3-0 victory. Bate- man and Goreski secured the shutout.
