Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bryans and family, Mr. John Lloyd, Willowdale, Miss Twila Carr, Cadmus and Bobbi Ann Fairey, Bowmanville spent the weekend at the Bryans cottage. On Sunday they held the Sth Bryans family picnic. Mrs. Margaret Argue has been moved to Bowmanville Hospital. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cookson, Port Perry, who celebrated their 10th Wedding Anniversary at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lawrence on Sunday along with the family picnic. The Historical Choir picnic was held on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Redman's on Scugog Island where a bountiful lunch and visiting was enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Richard VanCamp and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Larmer, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Larmer enjoyed the annual picnic of the former Young People's Union at Margaret Pellow's cottage at Bobcaygeon. The annual Hoskin picnic was enjoyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Graham with about 60 of the relatives attending. Mr. and Mrs. John Black- well of Everett, Washington, U.S.A. spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ferguson and visited other relatives. Quite a number of people from this area visited the funeral home and attended the funeral of Mrs. Adam Sharp. Congratulations to Marlene Parsons and Teresa Wygarde who received their camp leader badge for Girl Guides last weekend. The camp was held on the - Wygarde farm with the following attending: Lisa Turcotte, Lori Bailey, Elizabeth Kelly, Cindy Peck, Rhonda White. 'Heather Dorrell and Nancy Dickson are attending a reading course for the summer at Peterboro. Mrs. Fred Pawley of Port Hope visited last week with Mrs. Gerald Kelly and girls. Janis Dorrell has returned from her vacation in Banff. Mrs. Leanne Wills has been visiting with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Dorrell. .
