A very - distinguished and most wel- come visitor was the High Marshal, Sister Helen Twin- ing of Oshawa. At the recent Eastern Ontario provincial die Court Lady Snowbird was awarded the coveted Clarke Trophy. This trophy is awarded to the most active Court during the. current year. Lady Snowbird has won it four times since 1967-8. With fourty Courts in competion, it is quite a trib- ute to win it. Plans for serving at an upcoming wedding were - finalized. Sr. Ann Lee dis- tributed tickets for our draw on a wagon barbecue and . cover to be drawn on July the 5th. Sister Marg Lee read the financial report and the minutes of the previous meeting. Thank you cards were read and acknowledg- ed. A report on the dance at Club Annrerie was submitted" by Sister Zoe Rohrer. The ladies are going to the tap- ing of the Bobby Vinton TV show on May 29th. On June 3rd, they and other local people shall be leaving Nestleton at 6:30 p.m. to see the taping of the David Sheridan show, also at CFTO. The bus fare for these above mentioned trips is a mere $1.50. The Forest- er ladies and families have first choice and if any seats are left over the ladies and or men of the area are more than welcome to come along. As the meeting was in- formal, the ladies closed early. Lunch was served and supplied by Shirley Jackson and Judy Shepherd. The next meeting shall be on PORT PERRY STAR -- Wednesday, May 12, 1976 -- 21 Nestleton, Caesareanewsofinterest June 2nd, The Caesarea and areca ladies euchre club was host ed by Elna Forsythe last Monday.
