A paper on Volunteer Nursing Home News The past two weeks have been busy. We have had our regular church services on Tuesday, and bingo on Thursdays. Last week the Mariposa ladies group, as- sisted with the bingo. We enjoyed having them. Our bazaar and tea was very successful. We saw friends that we hadn't seen in 'months. While we were pleased with our sale - it was the opportunity to visit with so many friends that made the day so special. Mrs. Archer, Mrs. Letcher, Mrs. Byers and Mrs. Phoenix poured tea. Our profit of over $250.00 will be used for on- going activities. We are indebted to our volunteers who contributed to our sale and also came to help on Thursday afternoon. Friday evening the Club Richelieu from Oshawa ent- ertained at a Wine and Cheese party. We had Dr. Rennie, John Grieves, Jack { Hope and Clare Whitter to provide the lively music that we all enjoy. Last week we had some- thing different. A profession- al photographer has offered to take everyones picture. These will be offered for sale if we like them, with no obligation to buy. Several of us had our pictures taken last Tuesday. The photo- grapher is coming back another day to finish. We will let you know when the pic- tures are ready. Last Monday evening the Kinettes entertained with George Beare. We always enjoy the Kinettes program and this was no exception - Again thank you.
