The choir anthem had a nice swing to it accompanied by Norm Watson at the organ. Rev. Brawn's message was indeed worthwhile. Offering gathered by two ladies, I. Pugh and I. Hodgins. « Congratulations are in order to Mr. and Mrs. D. Hewitt (nee Vernon) who were married in our village church Saturday. . - Improved bill of health to Mrs. E. Byers, Mr. A. Guil- son and Terry Hodgins who are hospitalized. Mrs. Mabel Graham spent a few days in Winnipeg at the home of her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. V. Graham and family. As a Dies from injuries Elaine Latcham, 52, the wife of the well-known phil- anthropist Arthur Latcham died Thursday at Wellesley Hospital in Toronto from head injuries she suffered in a two-car collision two days 'before. Mrs. Latcham and son Robert, 30, of Thornhill, were returning to Stouffville from Aurora when the acci- dent occured. Robert is list- result, the choir members thought Myrtle deserving of a reward, therefore all met for an evening at Emiel's Place for a retirement dinner-party. During this time, a presentation was presented to Myitle from the congregation after which the recipient voiced a hearty thank you for the gifts and the pleasant evening in general. Mrs. Latcham was taken immediately to Wellesley, where she was listed in critical condition with head injuries. She died Thursday around noon. The funeral was held Sat- urday in Uxbridge.
