The Central Ontario Regional Snowmobile Assoc- iation is holding a games day at the Latcham Centre and dock area on Saturday, Jan. 31st. Club members are in- vited to ride in for breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning. Events for the day begin approximately at 11:00 a.m. and are only open to people who are members of snowmobile clubs belonging to C.O.RS.A., which in- cludes all members of Port Perry Snowmobile Club. A barrel race, obstacle course, potatoe race, bathtub race and tug of war are some of the activities to look forward to. Babysitting service will be provided by the Girl Guides in the Latcham Centre throughout the day. Games day ends with a dance at Club Annrene, which is open to the public. Now that the snow situa- tion has improved, regular trail rides will begin Sunday afternoons, 1:00 p.m. sharp, from the bay north of the dock. Both teams played well _ but Brooklins defence was a little better as the score shows, : " Brooklin clicked at 5:30 of the first period with their first goal by Bill Down from Wayne Church. The second period was scoreless. Then early in the third at 1:35 Larry Down scored from Brian Gritts to go ahead 2-0. Brians pulled their goalie late in the third trying to close the gap but their efforts failed as Murray Down scor- ed on the open net to end the game at 3-0. UTICA AUTO BODY 2 K.R. COULTER 0 Utica came out flying in the first two periods keeping play in Coulters end most of the time. Coulters slowed them down in the third mak- ing it end to end action. Coulters goalie kept them in the game picking up some excellent saves. With just seven seconds ° «into the first period Utica took the lead when Mike Mitchell slapped in past _Coulters goalie from Ron Redman and Keith Ellicott. The rest of the period was scoreless. Then at 10:10 of the second period Don Card got the final goal from Brian Reader. Dennis Symes pick- ed up the shutout. CAWKERS BUTCHERS 5 " SMITS CYCLE & SPORTS 2 Cawkers were the under- dogs as they fell behind 2-0 at the end of the first period then came back with five unanswered goals. Robert Evans was the big gun for Cawkers picking up 4 goals and one assist. Smits scored the first two goals in the game in the first period.
