Jeanne Goode opened the meeting by asking all to repeat the Auxiliary prayer and extended as.warm wel- come to all present. The minutes of last year's annual meeting, also the October meeting, were read and adopted. Bonnie Gerrow gave the Treasurer's report of receipts and expenditures for year showing .a bank balance of $697.80. Mary Cannon reported a bank balance of $1682.00 in Tuck Shop. ~~ Marion Webster reported on the Knitting Committee stating 194 pairs of booties turned in and 170 babies born in hospital since January 1975. Jeanne Goode expressed her appreciation tothe Auxiliary for their untiring efforts to make these reports so encourag-- ing. Thank you notes were read for bootees received by mothers of new babies and thanks from Auxiliary for donations of knitting receiv: ed from friends. A cheque of $1000.00 was presented to Mr. David Brown, Hosiptal Admini- strator, to complete pay- ment of bed lift for the hospital. Mr. Brown thank- ed the Auxiliary for this generdus gift and expressed his appreciation . of being able to be associated with such an active organization. Jeanne Goode expressed her appreciation for the support given her during her term'of office, and asked Mrs. Eleanor Davidson for her report from nominating committee. The following slate of officers were install- ed by Mrs. Marjorie Mc Dermott. Hayden, Mrs. Edith Brunton; Gift Shop buyer - Mrs. Joanne Huston, The Port Perry Community Memorial Hospitals Auxiliary held their annual meeting last week, which included the installation of the new executive. for Mrs. Jeanne Elliott; Gift Shop Treasurers - Mrs. Camille Crozier, Mrs. Mary _Cannon; Hospital Board "Representative - Mrs. Irene Lerch; Wool Convenor - Mrs. Marion Webster. ! The new president Mrs. _llean Pugh .took_ over the meeting for the remainder of the business. Committees were appointed to look after the Christmas activities--at the Hospital. Tickets were distributed for the Annual Doll Draw to "be held on December 13. Dolls are on display in Mr. H. Brook's store window on Queen Street. Tickets may be procured from Joanne Huston, 985-2807 or any member of the auxiliary. Ilean Pugh introduced Mrs. Jennifer White, director of 'nursing for the hospital who introduced Mrs. Connie Jamieson, In-service Co- 'ordinator in the hospital. Mrs. Jamieson spoke briefly on her work with germ con- trol and hospital education. Mrs. White showed a film on Volunteer Services proving most interesting and demon- a two-year term.
