Seniors enjoy colour tour Thursday, October 2, two buses left Port Perry with 88 Senior Citizens for the yearly colour tour. The group journeyed north- and drove to Orillia, past Wabachene, Port Severn, Muskoka Lake, Golden Lake and many smaller lakes, then arrived at MacTier, which is near the famous Moon River. Lunch was enjoyed at the "Woodman's Inn' on High- way 103 at Muskoka Lake. The proprietor, Mr. Bill Bowden, was very obliging and all had a satisfactory meal. © The weather was 'perfect. The sun shining 0. the many coloured trees. Such beautiful colours, red,. green and yellow. The white. birch showing through the trees and shining rocks. Next stop was Graven- hurst, where an hour was spent shopping around, then the obliging drivers drove down to the docks where we saw through the old, yet new, S.S. Segewin, being recued' and recommissioned to ply once again to some. of her old ports of call. Orillia was the next stop on way down. We saw a very old grist mill, one of the few left in Ontario, then on to the Wild - Duch and Geese Sanctuary. Finally, at Orillia for supper, where most of us had chinese dinner.
