Scugog Island W.I. Betty Ann Freeman wel- comed five visitors and 17 members to our candle-lit meeting of the Scugog Island Women's Institute held on « Thursday at 8 p.m. at the ~ Community Hall. Thanks was expressed to members - who ~ helped as Museum Guides and with the Port Perry Fair Display. Mrs. Ruby Christie spoke of thé lack of lady directors on the Fair Board from Scugog Island and suggested a representation from inter- ested women. --Mrs. Helen Redman intro-- 'duced Mr. Jack Chambers who spoke to us on Pork Production.
