YET ANOTHER 'Very bright and very big" is the way a 17-year-old. Uxbridge area girl described an object she spotted hover- ing over a nearby field at her ' Uxbridge 5th Concession home. In the kitchen of her par- ents' home, she looked out the window and saw a bright light above the ground. She estimates the object to have "been about 200 yards from the house, and making no noise. Judy Bishop was afraid at the time. "I was excited to see it but a bit scared," she said. '"Itcouldn'thaveheen a reflection or anything. It looked like it was hovering above the field." She looked away from the . object, not sure of what she had seen. When she-looked back again later, it was gone. Search for water (continued of these holes started on August 1 and continued until "August 11. Will rename Riding Bill Newman, Progressive Conservative candidate in Durham North riding pro- mised today that he will have the riding re-named to Durham York, at the earliest opportunity. The provincial electoral district was given its name by the independent electoral boundaries commission prior to the September 18th, election announcement. "I attempted to have the name changed in time for the. provincial election, however, because of the timing of the election announcement this was not possible," Mr. New- man said. 'As soon as it is humanly 'possible I will put forward an appropriate amendment. to have this riding become known as Durham' York," Bill Newman said. Mr. Newman feels that the present name does not recog- nize that portion of the riding which is situated in the York Region and wants to have this oversight corrected # REVENUE: Opening Bank Balance Sponsor Gate Receipts 50-50 Draw.
