The two pitchers matched scoreless innings for the first six, when Laurie Williams _aided his own cause by hit--- ting a long triple and scored on a throwing error by the Mount Albert catcher, The Lumbermen scored their second run on a hit batter and a throwing error by the third basemen. Laurie Williams, in this game, pitched a rariety in this contest, as he faced on the minimum of 27 Mount Albert batters, as a double play and two runs thrown out trying to steal, eliminated all three of their baserunriers.
