Miss Kathy Carr has been holidaying with her aunt and & Everyone - uncle in Orillia this week, On Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Johnson were 'rudely' awakened to the usual clatter and bank of a chivaree gang which was comprised of local neigh- bours who came calling to shower best wishes on the happy couple. , On Wednesday - morning Mr. and Mrs. Johnson are traveling. to the West Coast where they will be making their néy home. We are most certainly going to miss Dar- linne. She was very active in church and Sunday School work and a darn good baby- sitter as well. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Len Somerville and Melody- Anne were dinner guests of Mrs. Wm. Graham in Port / Perry and later called on Betty's Grandpa Graham who, is a resident at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry. Mr. Isiah Irwin who is residing at Lakeview Manor in Beaverton has been stay- ing at the home of his daugh- ter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Bright for a few days this week. Glad to have you back with us Mr. Irwin. Mrs. Louella Kennedy has been entertaining a friend of hers from Toronto this week. There will be no church services during the month of August but Church and Sun- day School will resume again the first Sunday in Septem- ber. At time of writing I have Graham on Friday.
