A The first game on Sat., March 15th, saw Port matched against Orillia and it took an overtime goal to give the Legionaires a 2 to 1 victory. The second game, later in the day, Port won handily, defeating Peterborough 5 to 0. Returning to Orillia, Sun., March 16th for the Champ- ionship game, Port played their best game of the tourn- ament, defeating Midland's Major Pee Wee téam 1 to 0. Following this game the team were presented with a trophy and the boys each, received a crest. Port came from behind to win by a narrow 2 to 1 margin. Following this game, the team were presented with their second trophy of the weekend and the boys each received a small trophy. Two Port players, George Burnett and Robert Frans- sen won trophies for their individual play. George chosen the most valuable defenceman and Rob, the most valuable goaltender. The only trophy Port didn't capture was the most valu- able forward trophy which- was won by a boy on the Orillia team. This was a two-day tourn- ament and Port got off on the right foot Saturday, March 8th, defeating Tavistock 6 to 1. The boys came back Saturday night to defeat Tot- tenham 6 to 2. They lost the championship 3 to 2 to St. George, Sunday afternoon. 'Team members are: Man- ager Bob Storry; Coach Butch Potts; Asst.
