A dance was held but not quite as well attended as before, but those that were there had a very good time. One of the reasons that the attendance was down was because of a nice fall of snow, and no one complained about this. A very interesting meeting was held by the Federation. This was informative to both members and the general public. Following this was the cook- out. This was very well attended. There were bet- ween 85 and 100 people pre- sent. A good meal of stew, hot dogs and hot chocolate was enjoyed by all. Last weekend club mem- bers attended the Snow-or- BABY BEEF SIDES 83c |b. Dressed Wt. Humewood Farm 985-2459 ami in Minden. This was a real challenge because the lakes were verv slushy. However every rider that started, completed the run and the club had pledges of approximately $4000.00 for the fund. Two of our members, Pat and Teddy Quinn had the 2nd highest pledges for the Minden run. They raised approximately $800.00. The next event was the games day. This was well attended and everybody enjoyed themselves. A letter of thank you was received from the OFSC and read. The next dance will be held on March 29th, but before then, a weekend in the north and of course, the races which are held on February 23rd at Port Perry Fair grounds. The Kinsmen are having two refreshment booths there. A new trail is now running south to the Ridge View snack bar and this links up with the trails of the Maple Leaf Club. Membership is now up to 183 members. "MAR-LAINE HAND CRAFT BOUTIQUE 160 Queen Street - Port Perry,Ont. vid is LS $ ~ Ls CE --.
