On Saturday afternoon Mrs Nancy Bryans along with her mother Mrs. Wilf Brown of Courtice attended the 90th birthday party of Mrs. Winnie Osborne of Courtice. Miss Eleanor Wright left last week for a vacation with her sister Lorna Wright in Europe. The girls hope to visit Lorna's friend in Tun- isia, Africa. Mrs. Gladys Thompson re- turned last week from a holiday to the West Coast along with Rev. and Mrs. Merle Thompson of Sask- atchewan. Miss Pati Bryans is spend- ing the next two weeks with her cousins Bobbi Ann, Lorri and David Fairey at Bow- manville. Sympathy is extended to Mrs. W.G. Bowles, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bowles and family and Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Sleep and family on the passing of Mr. W.G. Bowles in Oshawa on Sunday.
