THAT Section 11 subsection (a) (iv) is by deleting the word "race- tracts" and by adding thereto the words } "riding stables" so that the said subsection as amended, shall read as follows: amended (iv) Recreational Bathing beaches (public and private), golf courses, riding stables and swim- ming pools. 3. THAT Section 11A subsection (a) is amended by adding thereto paragraph (iii) as follows: (iii) (a) Horse racetracks provi vg that the § lot area is at least .? (b) The provisions of Section 4 (d) of By-law No. 1784 shall not apply to sect- ion 3 of this By-law. 4. This By-law shall come into fore on the date it is passed by the Co"ncil of the Town of Whtiby, subject to approval Municipal Board. Newman MAYOR EXPLANATORY NOTE Explanation of the Purpose and Effect of By-law No. 61-74 The purpose and effect of By-law No. 61-74 is to change By-law No. 1784 to make further clarification of the meaning, and to regulate the use of "racetracks" in a zone designated Agricultural (A). This is achieved by amending Section 11 (a) (iv) by deleting the word "racetracks", and by adding thereto the words "riding stables', and further by adding to Section 2, a new Subsection being Subsection (zzb) "Riding Stables' and by amending Section 11 (A) subsectice (a) by adding thereto Paragraph (iii) d .ciing with Horse Racetracks.
