In the absence of the President, Jeanne Goode, the Vice President Mrs. llean Pugh, chaired the meeting. It was opened with all repeating the Lord's Prayer. It was nice to see such a large turnout, over 30 ladies were present. Perhaps the "nicer weather helped. The minutes of the pre- vious meeting were read by Norma Crowell, and adop- ted as read. A favourable treasurer's report was given by Bonrie Gerrow. Mary Cannon re- ports that the total sales for the Tuck Shop to date for this year are $1,859.63. The Infant Care Centre purchased by the Hospital Auxiliary is now in use "in the hospital. Marion Webster reports that since February 18th to March 18th. there have been 10 boys and 1 girl babies born in the hospital. who says we don't need our Maternity wing"? There have been 39 babies born in the hospital since the first of the year. The annual meeting of the Community Memorial Hospi tal Board of Directors will be held at the Municipal. Buildings on April 24th. at 8 p.m. and the general public is cordially invited to attend this meeting. Remember this is your hospital. Hospital Day will be held this year on May 12th.
