Mr. Morley Goard admitted this week Port Perry Hospital. The popular Bingo game on Thursday was a lucky night for the ladies. Winners was from being Mesdames Clark, Truckle, Walker and Pearcy. Mr. Brown and Mr. Preston, who had won for the gentlemen, Mr. Preston winning 4 games. Lloyd called the numbers and Mrs. DeYonge, Mrs. Mec- Nenly and Mrs. Peters helped with the games and prizes. These ladies give their time each week, give it freely thank you. Some visitors from out of town were Mrs. Madison again we and. Williams and son Rosser of Buffalo, and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Bruce of Toronto. Mr. Edgar Butt was at home on Sunday with his family also visiting him were Mrs. Howard Butt of Toronto and Mr. and Mrs. rar Bradley of Windsor. Middleton attended a Woh re-union picnic on Sunday. Mr. Glen Hood was at his home on Sunday. Mr. Hamilton was away most of Sunday. Mrs. Clark having supper with her brother at her son's home. Church as a site despite the fact that it is not feasible to actually erect a school building there for the sake ofthe 25 child- ren who are included in the area. Catholic parents may now designate that the school portion of their taxes go to the separate board and have their children take the bus to Oshawa every day, if they wish. the bus will begin its run at about 8:15 a.m. Kerr Bus Lines of Reach Township will do the bus- sing. Separate School Board Superintendent E.J. Finan explained to the STAR that full information regarding catholic school bus service will be sent to concerned parents before the next term begins in September. The Ontario County Sep- Will run for mayor Bob Nesbitt, reeve of Uxbridge Twp., will let his name stand for Mayor of the new Uxbridge Area under regional government. Reeve Nesbitt made his decision public, July 6th. The enlarged municipal- ity, that comes into being, Jan. 1, 1974, will also in- clude Uxbridge Town and the Twp. of Scott. Children between Kinder- garten and grade 6 will go to Father Venini School. Grade 7 & 8 students will attend St. Josephs. Both are relatively new buildings in the north end of Oshawa.
