Mrs. Nelson was born in | Reach Township and taught school in Public School at Port Perry. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, sang in the choir and was active in Young People's society at the church. She later taught school in Brampton, was a member of Grace United Church and held positions in the Young Peoples Societies of the church, writing pageants and training the various groups. She was also a valued member of the Literary and Travel Club there. She had studied Art and Elecution at College and gave entertain- ments at various functions. Mrs. Nelson was survived by two sisters, Miss May Watker, Brampton and Miss Rhea L. Walker, Toronto. She also had a brother, the late Professor Anson R. Walker, London. Funeral services and com- mittal were held at the McClure Chapel, Brampton, Tuesday, January 30, Reverend Donald Amos, conducted the service.
