Mrs. Rogers of Brooklin was a guest of her sister Mrs. Kerry for a few days. Yvonne Moore and Heat- her of Oshawa called on her parents on Sunday. : Mr. and Mrs. Al Christie attended a reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lynde in Ashburn on Friday December 1st in honour of Mr. and Mrs. Lynde's 60th Wedding Anniversary. We wish them many.more years of happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Moss who have a cottage at View Lake called on their daughter Mrs. F. West on returning to * their home in Toronto. Congratulations to Harry Bolton Jr. who entertained several friends on Saturday when he birthday. The beautiful arrange- ments of flowers at church on Sunday were placed by his parents in memory of the late Billy Jordan. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Allin of Newcastle visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Allin Card enjoyed an evening recently with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wier of Ashworth. W.I. members keep in mind the supper date and Christmas meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. Boadway, Tuesday, December 12. All" went in the afternoon to visit Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Asling at Fairview Lodge, Whitby. We are so pleased that Mrs. Asling is Grandpa Asling, and his sister Julie had dinner there on Sunday.
