Last Tuesday evening much of Cartwright Town- * ship along with other areas suffered a "brown-out" and . later a complete "Black-out. Much inconvenience and damage was suffered with burned out motors, delayed milkings and many other plans greatly changed. The weekly card party ended up as a very romantic atmos- phere of candlelight with various coloured candles on - each table. The New Years Dance tickets are now on sale. Everyone-.brought a gift for the Golden Plough Lodge. 'Doreen and her group served a lovely lunch of different Indian dishes and hot cider which brought another meeting to a close. The next meeting is at Joan. Grove's home. This meeting will be our Christ- mas Party and everyone is to bring a small gift.and a clue for her Mystery Sister. On November 15th an executive meeting was held at the home of Joan Thomp- son.
