With the up-coming of Regional Government which is a great concern ot all of us. Bob has spent many hours of study and with his experience he will see that the residents of Port Perry get a fair Roads have been one of the major issues the past two or three years, and most of us have had justly found complaints. | think we have to realize that going through a major sewage program is going to cause chaos in any municipality when it comes to road conditions. The total road budget for 1972 was $40,000.00 for construction, and $32,000.00 for maintenance, including the provincial grant. The total construction costs as of now, stands at $52,750.00 of which $7,638.67 has been spent on Simcoe Street. represents 14/2 percent of the total spent, and | feel that this is REASONS WHY BOB KENNY SHOULD BE RE-ELECTED AS REEVE of PORT PERRY To really know a person is to work with him, and | had the pleasure of working with Bob . for two years on Port Perry Council. Although | didn't agree with Bob on every issue that we faced, | know that he always weighed out the pro's and con's, and whatever decision was made, he always had the interest of all the people not a selected few. LS | would like to see all roads in Port Perry paved, but there is one major reason why this is impossible to have completed at one tine, and that is MONEY. The residents of Simcoe Street have certainly had reasons to complain, but | would like to point out some budget figures, as well as the fact that it was Bob, after seeing the condition of this street, reported back to Council that something certainly a fair and just per cent.
