The double-ring, candle- light ceremony was held in the Roman Catholic Church in Port Perry. The organist, Mrs. Eva Hunter, played the traditional wedding music, including "Ava Maria" dur- ing the signing of the register, Given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Mr. Fred Canning, the bride looked lovely in a floor length, accordian pleated gown with smocked bodice and puffed sleeves. Mrs. Donna Richardson, sister of the bride, was Matron of Honour and the bridesmaid was Miss Greta Vanderby. They were gowned alike in floor length dresses of yellow polyester crepe, in the empire style with puffed sleeves. They wore yellow picture hats trimmed with daisies and carried colonial nosegays of white daisies. The flower girl was Miss Lisa Canning, a neice of the bride. She wore a full length white dress with a yellow sash and caried a basket of Robert Richardson, brother- in-law of the bride was the usher. In keeping with the daisy theme, they all wore yellow shirts and had daisy boutinneres. Alter boys for the service were David and Eddy Can- ning, nephews of the bride. The reception was held at the Prince Albert Com- munity Centre. The brides mother greeted the guests in a floral floor length gown of white and mauve with mauve - sash and silver accessories. Mr. Jim Armstrong acted as Master of Ceremonies for the reception. Guests attended from Barrie, Kitchener, Bee- ton, Toronto, Oshawa, Whit- white and yellow daisies. by and Port Perry.
