September 1 increase for milk quotas The Ontario Milk Market- ing Board is advising all milk producers that there will be a general increase in their Market-Sharing Quotas effective September 1, 1972. This increase is in accor- dance with the views of the Canadian Dairy Commission and the dairy industry representatives from various provinces on the milk supply management committee, that there is a need for a greater pro- duction of milk for manu- facturing into dairy products in the current dairy year. Market-Sharing Quotas are a means of aligning the amount of milk produced with market demand.
