LJ w * The Board of Stewards of Port Perry United Church held their third annual gala evening of entertainment. This year it was a Hawaiin Luau, 115 persdns enjoyed the Polynesian food and a travelogue on the Hawaiin Islands. were given out throughout the evening. LJ Port Perry UCW 11 members of Unit 6, U.C.W. were guests of Mrs. W. Mark Reeves for the February meeting. Also attending the 'meeting were Miss Gladys Joblin, presi- dent of U.C. On behalf of the Unit, Mrs. Reynolds expressed thanks to Mrs. Reeves for her kind hospi- tality for inviting them to her home. Dues were paid and a collection of $6.50 was rea- lized. Vi Hoskins conducted a contest with the answers found in the word Valentine. Miss Joblin gave an infor- mative report from the Presby terial meefing held in Simcoe St. Church. Oshawa.
