Don Gray 4 Port Midgets win tournament in Bowmanville ~ On Sunday, Dec. 26th 'Grant Menzies Hornets tra- velled to Bowmanville to play in their annual Midget '& Juvenile tournament and came home with the Midget Championship Trophy. The first game the Hor- nets played Cobourg and de- feated them by a score of 5 to 1. game were Campbell with two, and singles going to Jeffrey, Litt and Evans. The second game they de- feated Leaside by a score : of - 5 to-2 with goals from Tennyson with 2, and sing- les going to Evans, Litt and * Jackson.' Hornets tie with Whitby On Sunday night Grant Menzies Hornets travelled to Whitby to play. their Midgets and came home with a tie, The Hornets opened the scoring with McCoy and Litt scoring before Sanford scored for Whitby, then VanCamp 'scored to take a three to one lead.
