On November 14, 1971, an historical plaque com- memorating the Scugog Indian Route from Lake . Ontario to the Kawartha Region was unveiled at Soldiers' Memorial Park, Lindsay, Ontario. Cawker with his violin. * Shortly after 8 p.m., the chairman, Mr. Evert Prentice welcomed everyone and introduced the program begun by the Sunday School as, appropriately dressed, they sang "An Old Fashioned Christmas," Then they were joined by the audience in a favourite carol . "Hark the Herald Angels." Now that all were in the Christmas Spirit, little Billie Samells quietly gave all a special welcome. The Junior Choir did well with its Christmas songs interspered with solos by Elisa Galante and Michael Freeman, a duet by Monita Appleton and Cindy Van Weston then a trio by Tim Pearce, Laudie Raffin and David Redman, There were piano solos by Sandra Pearce, TanyaRedman, Tammie Veltri, Jennifer Pearce and Louise' Hope and Bruce Prentice' all playing Christmas music." Michael -Jordan played two good numbers on his guitar and Linda Samells did her recitation well.
