To the Editor: In this pollution-conscious "era, organizations concerned about the . welfare of our environment are to be commended for their efforts. In the majority of situations, it appears to be the youth who are most active in the control and salvage of wastes. One such instance occurs five times per year in Port Perry. That is, namely, the Boy Scout Paper Drive. "Paper" Drive in this instance is used in. its broadest term, as the Boy Scouts will accept anything athering, . The -next Drive for Port Perry, 'Island, Seagrave and Greenbank is Saturday, 'Novémber 20th. Your sup- port of this drive could determine the im- plementation of other pollution control endeavors, such as waste bottles, in the future. Help our youth keep our world a clean place in Which . to live. As years have passed, hobbies have become more and more diversified. I represent some 50 or so Canadians who persue the hobby of collecting old auto licence plates as collectors items, as we try. to get a licence plate from each province for each year plates were made. In the same manner that coin clubs and stamp clubs and antique auto clubs have been formed, we would like to form a club of our own uniting all people across: Canada enjoying the same hobby. There are probably several hundred folks who privately enjoy the hobby but have no way of ating others sharing the same N {2 HA xirexen curgoanes = Vv, alll * vanries ) os 0] i A Swarr CanpPirray AR PEN TRY Ho! esr, pon PosTiiL MANCHESTER 985-3189 ep Cur'p ¥ For a No. 1 product and|| Fast Delivery Service -- TRY A TANK OF OUR --- FURNACE or STOVE OIL Reesor Fuel & Lumber PORT PERRY, ONTARIO - 985- 7951 - interest with which to trade plates or simply talk about their hobby with one another, We few are trying to organize a national search to "try.to locate all people in the country sharing our interest.
