The reception was held at - _Club annrene where 150 'guests enjoyed dinner and dancing. The happy couple took a trip to the U.S.A for their honeymoon. The "bride is a recent of Waterloo University . and will be teaching school in Toronto. The groom will be resuming his studies at Osgood Hall Law School at University. They will make their home in - University City, Downsview. Handicraft Guild The October meeting of the 'Louise Patterson Guild was held in the Presbyterian Church Hall. The meeting opened with the Lord's Prayer. Mrs. - Naples welcome éveryone and read a letter from Mrs, . Patterson. Card was signed by all and sent to her. There were twenty six ladies and' four visitors present. Mrs. Naples and Miss Williams were at Lindsay Fair and demonstrated rug Mrs. Pine Needle Craft to Lindsay Fair. She also went to Rockton Fair near Hamilton. Twelve ladies took part in : a lesson on this craft at the meeting. One lesson is not enough in this craft and we hope to have another. -- Mrs, Wipper returns from Florida. A delicious lunch' was served by the hostesses. Next meeting. November 10th same place, same time. Mrs. Mildred Nokes will demonstrate Ribbon - Rose which should be interesting. The gown featured an empire waist and a long chapel train trimmed with small white daisies. The long full: sleeves were gathered into wide buttoned cuffs. Her headress was white stephanotis streamers which held a multi tiered veil. She carried a white orchid with yellow throat surrounded by yellow shasta daisies. Mrs. Lori Geer attended as Matron of Honour, wearing aqua icé, the bridesmaids Miss Shay Gray and Miss Debra Jeffrey all of Port Perry wearing orange ice Peau de Broche.-The flower girl Caralee Beadle; niece of the bride wore an 'identical dress of the bridesmaids with white lace bodice. The attendants 'dresses had an empire waist with a long pleated panel both front and back. They had matching flowers in their hair. Their bouquets were yellow shasta _ daisies formed in a large pom pont held by a white velvet ribbon. The groom was attended by Mr. Kenneth Geer. The ushers were Mr, Philip Benns and Mr. Erice Benns of Uxbridge and the ring _ BEADLE | bearer Master Harry Benns of Whitby, brothers of the groom, : 3 o The groom was attired ina black tuxedo while the ate tendants wore white dinner .. jackets and: black tuxedo pants. They wore yellow carnations in their lapels. The reception was held at the Oddfellow Temple and catered to by the Rebekahs. The guests were welcomed by the parents of the happy newlyweds. The -bride's' mother wore a lime green flowered chiffon dress with lime green accessories arid a corsage of yellow roses. The ¢ groom's mother assisted wearing an ice blue chiffon -. dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink roses. Upon. leaving for a honeymoon at Honeymoon Haven in the Pocanos mountainsPennsylvania, the bride wore pale blue lace hot - pants - with white ac- cessories. Her corsage was a white orchid with a mauve throat. . Guests were present from " Beamsville, Toronto, Lind- say, Beaverton, Uxbridge, Bolton, Whitby, Orangeville, Florida, Oshawa, Seagrave and Port Perry.
