MW a NL School is out and summer- time is finally upon us. Play- ground is also ready to begin for in 5 days on July 6th, Playground will officially begin. Registration for the prog- ramme has already begun -- yesterday July 1st was the first day. Today, July 2nd and tomorrow are still open for registration. The times to register during any one of these three days is' between 1:30 and 4:00. Anytime dur- ing these hours you may register. There is a special spot at the Port Perry High School track and field area/ football field for registration. You will see the spot as soon as you come upon the field. If you are unable to register during these three days you may still join anytime during the 7 week programme. All you do is go to either one of the playgrounds(R.H. Cornish Public School -- ages 3 to 7; Port Perry High School -- ages 8 -- 16) and sign up with "the leaders. Also present at each meet- ing were officials of the Ont- fario County Farm Safety Council. These men spoke * briefly about the need for continuing safety education '® in the rural community. Each meeting was closed with a draw for a dry-type fire extinguisher.
