The school is in a state of '| Annual happy anticipation because one of their best loved teach- ers, Miss Verna Geisberger is getting "married this Fri- day evening in Uxbridge at seven-thirty. When school re- opens after winter vacation she will be Mrs. David Smith. She and Mr. Smith will be living in Don Mills. Her hus- band is vice-principal of Sil- ver Thorne Public School in the Borough of York. Our best wishes to the happy bride and sincere con- gratulations to the handsome groom. Last Tuesday there was also a great deal of excit- ment as our school was part- icipating in the 'Thirteenth Central Ontario County Music Festival in Brock Township Auditorium sponsored by the Sunderland Lions Club.
