The bridge was built in 1940. Due to its aetetiorating condition, ongoing erosion and risk of looding, the bridge requires replacement. The process: This Study was completed in accordance with the requirements of a Schedule ‘B’ project as outlined in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) document (October 2000, as amended in 2015). Project File Report: The study team previously hosted a virtual Public Information Centre from June 16 to June 30, 2022, to share the recommended solution for bridge replacement. The study team has now prepared the Project File Report to document the details of the problem, the recommended solution and mitigation measures. The Project File Report is available for review from November 14, 2022, to December 16, 2022 on oakville.ca by searching McCraney Creek Bridge EA. You are invited to review the Project File Report and share any written comments or questions by December 16, 2022, using the online comment form available on the project webpage noted above.
