Black gave a short medit- ation on "Preparation' as an essential ingredient for maxi- mum benefit during the Lenten season. On Thursday, 19th Feb- ruary 'at 12:05 p.m. the service is being conducted by Rev. R. Rose, when the key- note will be "Penitence". The friendly atmosphere at the luncheon following, plays an integral part in the fellow - ship of the three co-operat- ing churches. On the 26th Rev. M. Reeves, will give a meditation on "Perserver- ance". The public is most warmly welcome at these informal gatherings, either to the service or the luncheon or both. : Burketon News Mrs. James Smith who has been a patient in Hospital is now convalescing at home.
