Dr. CM. Hoffman, medical officer of health, said 30 such reports were received by the unit last year, compared with 24 the previous year. The animals included 12 cattle, nine foxes, four skunks, three sheep.and two bats. One hundred and thirty- four child health conferences with' immunization clinics were held with 1,076 child- ren, A total of 1,621 child- ren and adults were immuniz- teachers were ed; while 6,357 children and immunized. Five thousand one hundred and forty tuberculin tests were 43 given in secondary schools and 1,020 persons were X- rayed. John Robson, chief public health inspector, reported 421 inspections in 'December. Forty-nine sewage disposal inspections were made and 70 water samples were taken.
